Guilt Free Buys

I finally able to go out to charity shops on friday, i went to two charity shops that are close to my house but i was a lil bit disappointed as i don't find anything worth buying so I decided to walk a lil further to another shopping area where they have more than 4 charity shops, I managed to buy something for my swap partner Jane at a pocket full of daisys which i wont show it in my post :) But here are what i bought for myself;

A complete kit to make this cross stitch clock for only £1.50, it'll come in handy when i got the time to make it but i love the roses pattern on it.

Vintage frames for £2.49. love the bow on top and i just can't help picking it up.

another frames, nice additions to my wall of mini frames, 50p each. love rummaging through a box that says "50p items" in one of the charity shop :0

I always wanted to buy domino for my next project to use it as a pendant or a ring and so glad to find it along with wooden tumbling tower game that i can use also for a craft project and Family rubber stamp, 40p each.

I didn't want to buy big items as I dont want to walk almost an hour home carrying it but this huge enamel floral tray screamed at me to buy it for only £1 and i thought to myself, well it's not that heavy :) ...and last but not least, my favorite buy, this gorgeous egg shaped trinket box for £1, love the floral on it.

That's all I bought for this month's charity shopping, I'm going to do my first attempt on making a jewellery for my swap partner which i cant tell you what it is, also i need to do some online shopping on ebay for my craft supply. I was abit miffed that i cant order anything from Cath Kidston's website as they're having a Sale right now, everytime i try to put something in a shopping bag, a small window popped up and it wont allow me to do anything, dang! anyways, Happy Sunday!

  2. Susan, what great finds! I like the cross stitch clock...very pretty roses...are your hands hoping for another rainy day so you can work on it? I'm anxious to see the jewelry you make. It's always exciting to see what you'll post next.

    The vintage looking frames are very pretty...you made some good purchases. I can't wait to see what you do with the dominoes and the wooden game. That should be interesting.

    Thank you for your lovely comment. My sister hasn't seen it yet.

  3. Whoa..you sure struck lucky at the Charity shops..you bargain hunter! :)

    I like the cross-stitch clock kit..that is such a good price for it, as to buy some of the kits new cost so much. Do share a photo when you have completed it.

    I really like the vintage frames as well.

    I am interested in seeing what you do with the domino's etc..I look forward to finding out!
