But first thing first, embarassment later. I'm too lazy to set up a tea table or bake a cake to accompany my tea, so today's tea time I'm sharing my cup of tea with my favorite teddy coz He loves me :)
Yep, it's a simple post for Tea Time Tuesday, Tea Time with my Teddy, still in the bedroom and the laptop on the bed uploading this pics :)
The Teddy is my Christmas gift a few years ago from hubby and the Tea for One set is from my friend given to me on my Last year's Birthday. She knows what I love, she even gave me a Tea Birthday Card too!
So, it's almost 9am, better go wash up and do the dreaded task, I hope the road is clear and no one's looking at me carrying the chair which I bought for £5 and I did ask how much if i wanted it delivered at my doorstep and the lady at the till said it costs £8!!!! Hence, my decision to carry it myself! I didn't do it yesterday coz I have bought several things at the other charity shop that i had no free hands :)
Sandi - Tea Time Tuesday
Lady Katherine - Tea Time Tuesday
Martha - Teacup Tuesday

Love your little tea pictures - that bear does certainly love you *wink* Good luck with carrying the chair, I got myself another one at the tip yesterday for £2 - will put it on the blog at somepoint. I posted your book yesterday so should be with you soon to brighten your day :o) Scarlett x
ReplyDeleteWishing you strong arms and a quiet road! X

I wouldn't have had them deliver it either for more than the cost of the chair. Here's hoping for a sunshiney day for your walk. Love your little tea with Teddy. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYou have an award from me!! Scarlett x
ReplyDeleteCute teacup!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog! I'm following you back. =)
Teehee Susan, you really made me laugh this morning with the Super Laziness Syndrome! I think I get afflicted with that from time to time too:) It's only 6 a.m. so I haven't ventured out from under the covers yet.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with carrying the chair! You might be sore tomorrow. Your little teapot and teacup set is precious, just like you!!!
Your blog is SO fun. I love tea parties. I just bought a pretty pink tea pot. I LOVE it! I am following you back!! :)
ReplyDeleteLove this post! It's so "me" today. I prepared my tea this morning, got everyone out the door (prepared lunches last night), took my tea to my bedroom and had a lovely quiet morning listening to the birds sing outside my window.
ReplyDeleteKindred spirit here and following.
Hello,
ReplyDeleteWe all have those mornings - if I didn't have my list of things to do I'd just get distracted by this and that - adorable bear!
Kathy

We all have mornings like this so don't feel bad. I always have to have coffee in the morning to get me going. Your teddy is just as cute as can be and he really does love you! The tea for one is very cute and they are both such nice gifts from people who care about you! Thank you for sharing with us today and for stopping by to have tea with me. I hope your day goes well.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sandi
Susan, I love your blog and I love everything tea! I'm a new follower :)
ReplyDeleteI have lugged chair's and al-sort's home because I don't drive! The best one was a rock, I carried across the village, it was free but very heavy!
ReplyDeleteDelightful teddy bear tea for one! It sounds like you are just in need of a little extra self care. And you are doing a good job of that.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes on your chair project. I look forward to seeing it when it is done.
Hugs,
Terri
Your title brought back memories of my mother. She is Australian and every afternoon she would stand up stretch and say "Time for a cuppa." Now I will have to break out my tea sets and enjoy a true English tea in New York.
ReplyDeleteI love the look of your blog and your posts. thanks for visiting my blog. I am definitely following back
ReplyDeleteOooo, I love tea too, and your blog is so beautiful!! I'd love to visit England someday: sounds so quaint!! Have a happy day!!
