I even got time to make christmas decorations from a free kit that i got from Cross Stitcher magazine christmas issue, three cute little houses and of course another snowman :)
Yesterday I decided to bake some gingerbread cookies while listening to Elvis Christmas CD that I got from Sunday Mail, I just love the smell of cookies fresh from the oven and can't help having them even before i decorated them with icing sugar, it warms up the house and it's a lovely company for my tea.
I'm going to bake a Yule log perhaps on Friday or Saturday but right now i need to make a shopping list for Christmas Menu as we're going shopping to Sainsburys today.

Merry Christmas Susan! Your mitten cookies are so pretty. Hope you get that little bit of snow for Christmas, we've had a dusting a few days so far.

I love the iceskate stockings!! What a great idea. And the little houses to hang them on! How precious!! You cookies look so yummy and there is no better way for the season than to listen to Elvis. My wonderful husband is a musician and sometimes he sings Elvis' songs. Just makes me go week in the knees...LOL! I received your wonderful package yesterday and I am so thrilled you sent me TWO Christmas Ornaments. I truly love them and placed them on the tree that I FINALLY was able to put up last night. The time has been so busy and going by so fast, but I hope to have things together before Christmas day...
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you and hubby,
Brenda

ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Susan. Good luck at Sainsbury's - we are going at midnight, so to avoid the festive rush. I won't go again then until next week - when Christmas has been and gone!

Merry Christmas susan!!
ReplyDeleteThe ice-skate stockings are lovely, I've been meaning to make a tiny ice-skate for the tree but as yet haven't got round to it. One of my to-do's for next year is to learn how to decorate cookies properly - yours are fab!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely Christmas xx
Dearest Susan,
ReplyDeleteMerry, Merry Christmas dear lady.., and a happy New Year to you as well!
I love your delightfully festive, adorable and oh-so-festive ice-skate socks.., Too cute! ~ How heartwarmingly wonderful to be able to shop at Sainsbury's. I've always wondered what those stores would be like, especially at Christmas time. 'Chock a block', full of amazing foodie treats no doubt! We have our own large stores; plenty in fact, yet somehow I imagine they are not at all the same.
Thanks ever so much for also inspiring us richly and sharing with us all of your marvelous tea posts for our Tuesday tea parties.
We always adore having you join us in the fun!..,
Thanks for so faithfully brightening our corner of blogland, as you have joined us for, 'T and TTT', and also for, 'Tuesday Tea For Two', on many a lovely occasion.
May God richly bless you and yours during this coming Christmas and also in the New Year in 2012 dear lady.
Hugs from Wanda Lee, (and Pam)
