  3. Your sewing box is amazing, Susan!! I love it just how it is but at the same time I think it'd look beautiful painted duck egg blue or french grey with little patches of decoupage.

  4. Oh, your little pin is so cute and an constant reminder to be happy. Your sewing box is beautiful!!! I'd leave it as is, for now. It can be a nice focal point. I'd just keep it polished nicely with pledge or something similar.

I know it sounds strange, but I've always loved ironing. I never really minded doing my own housework, and I'm looking forward to the day when I can resume that lifestyle along with having the time and energy to create, create, create.

Enjoy a wonderful day, dear, Susan.

    Love,
    Marianne xo

  8. Hi Susan,

I like your sewing box, what a great (and handy) find. I quite like it as it is, but I also think it would look just as nice painted..I guess it depends on how it looks/suits the room it is in.

That strawberry milkshake looks good. I just bought a pack of strawberry milkshake mix this weekend, I am going to have to give it a go :)

I hate doing the ironing as well, it is right on the top of my 'hate to do' list..so much so I try to buy things that don't wrinkle..just to avoid doing it :P haha.

I hope you are having a good week :)

  10. Your photos are great today! Your little pin is so cute and LOVE the sewing box. I think it looks great the way it is. Great price, too! The rose in your clock looks so sweet. You did a good job with that! YES, YUMMY STRAWBERRY SHAKE, but not thanks. I'm trying to shed my middle... :(
You should try some protein shakes. Whey protein is best and you can get different flavors!
I use to have to iron for my mother when I was growing up. I remember my dad had this job where he needed white shirts. She would dampen them, roll them in a ball and place them in the refrigerator. She would let them get cold, then take them out and start ironing them using lots of starch. She made them look so beautiful. Then I had to iron his handkerchiefs, the bed linens, and my brothers shirts. Come to think of it, my mother made ironing an ART. She was really good at it. THANK GOODNESS I don't have to do that today!! LOL! Wow, Susan. You brought about a great memory!!
    Have an awesome day,
    Brenda
