Pyrex Love....

Inspired by my other lovely ladies in the blogland few years ago, I too fell in love with pyrex dishes, although my collection isn't that many and i can only managed to find a few of these pretties over the past 2 years in charity shops but i did manage to add one more cutie, rather smaller in size and plain...but i like the color and so i quickly grab it and paid it in a hurry before the rain started to fall again and walked home yesterday :p

It's plain and in blue color, kinda cute i think and i like the handle too... can't resist adding face effect on photo editor to it, just too cute! :p The below photo are my small collection of the pyrex dishes that I managed to find in different charity shops in the past two years...

...and since it's tuesday, i'm combining this entry with my tea time tuesday, the weather is just so wet and gloomy again today, im lucky enough to be given scones freshly made by my dear friend Komang and it's fruits and cheese, even hubby has had his share, seems like hubby got a cold and i feel like coming down with one too so..im just going to enjoy my tea and scones while wrapping up to keep warm and watch Black Adder. Hope everyone else is having a much more sunnier day!

  2. The shade of blue of your newest Pyrex addition is just lovely!! I don't have a large collection either - just three pieces, but yours are beautiful - I love that they all have pretty floral designs and now you have a plain one to add to the mix too! :-)

  6. Now why don't my friends bring me scones? I don't have much luck with pyrex, keep dropping it on my tiled kitchen floor :-(

Love the colour of the pale blue one xx

  8. Hi Susan, Your scones look great and your little pyrex dish is a lovely color. I can remember my mother having lots of pyrex when I was a child. I don't know if she still has it, but I'm guessing she does. She's one of those persons who doesn't really throw things away. Hope your week is going well!

  15. Hi, Sweetie...

Yes, we're "enjoying" (col) a sunnier day here in Texas..sunny and humid in the high 80s...I still not giving up hope in welcoming in some cooler drier weather.

Your pyrex is wonderful. My mother had quite a bit of pyrex as did most 'back in the day'. I came across a small one in a thrift store. It had the Amish design on it, but they wanted $5.99 for it. I was like "no way"!

I like the pyrex with the roses, too. You have a nice collection.

I hope your day gets sunnier and drier, and cooler. Sending you hugs and love,

  19. Love your Pyrex dishes. I remember my Mom had so many of these, somehow they slowly went out of favor and were given away to a charity shop. I wish I had some of them as they were so pretty.

Love your Pyrex bowls with roses.

  20. Love the sound of tea, scones and Blackadder! I've got a bit of a pyrex thing going on too - I have three small dishes, similar to your lovely rose ones, and they're great for pies and crumbles for the kids. I also found a really big orange mixing bowl that's come in very useful. Hope you find some more! x
