Bookcases Makeover

I finally finished re-painting the two bookcases that I bought the other day from charity shop for £15 (including delivery). I just painted them white and used Cath Kidston's Wallpaper for the backing then added white scalloped shelf edging for extra cuteness :)

I just put whatever i have around the house in one of the bookcase for temporary decoration, now i have more space to put something i love and more excuse to go to charity shops or shopping online to fill the shelves :)

  1. I was thinking about you today when I was outside painting wondering if you were painting too - but oh no - you've gone and finished and made the most perfect bookcases ever!!! I think they are beautiful and of course being a CK fan that backing paper and the edging makes them look so expensive! How did you do the edging? I like your reasoning to go and do more charity shopping - of course you have to fill those pretty shelves :o) Have a fabulous weekend Scarlett x

  4. Lovely! I have put wallpaper in the back of a dark bookcase desk and love it. It's amazing what a bit of paper and paint will do...MUCH better than buying new!. Well done, you!
